Yaqin Hu's primary research relates to corporate disclosures in capital markets and the executive labor market. Her work has been published in accounting and finance journals such as Journal of Accounting, Auditing, and Finance, Journal of Business Finance & Accounting, Advances in Accounting, and Quarterly Journal of Finance.
Yaqin earned her Ph.D. in Accounting from the University of Texas at Dallas. She holds an M.S. in Economics from the University of Toronto and a B.A. in Accounting and Economics from Wilfrid Laurier University in Ontario, Canada.
