Overview
Douglas Down is a Professor in the Department of Computing and Software. He heads the Resource Allocation and Stochastic Systems Lab (RASSL) and is a co-PI of the Computing Infrastructure Research Centre (CIRC). His expertise lies in stochastic modelling, scheduling and performance evaluation of computer systems. In addition to expertise in these areas, he is currently undertaking a major project on intelligent control of data centres.
