My research focusses on the intersection of Roman material culture with Roman society, literature and history. I am interested in finding out what we can learn about the Romans, their beliefs and their daily lived experiences, through the study of art and archaeology, especially but not limited to numismatics, pottery, sculpture and mosaics.
