Overview

Dr. Rong Zheng is an Associate Professor in the Department. of Computing and Software. She is also an associate member of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, a member of the School of Computational Science and Engineering, and a member of the McMaster Institute for Research on Aging with McMaster University, Canada.

Dr. Zheng is a Joseph Ip Distinguished Engineering Fellow from July 1, 2015 to June 30th, 2018. She is a steering committee member of the MacData institute, which promotes collaboration among centers and researchers whose work involves different facets of data. She is also affiliated with the Computing Infrastructure Research Centre (CIRC).

Dr. Zheng's research lies at the intersection of mobile computing, wireless networking and active machine learning.
