Overview
The Gender and Social Justice Program at McMaster University is a dynamic academic community dedicated to the intersectional study of social differences through feminist, anti-racist, anti-colonial, and queer perspectives. With roots in Women’s Studies, the program emphasizes collaborative, community-engaged research and praxis, offering undergraduate, Master’s, and PhD students opportunities to engage with real justice issues and interdisciplinary topics. The program also hosts a vibrant Research Symposium featuring speakers and events open to the broader community.
