The Department of Engineering Physics focuses on creating advanced materials, devices, and systems to address global challenges in energy, sensing, and communications. It boasts a Nobel Prize alumna and offers 36 units of technical electives for degree customization. With 95% of students gaining co-op experience, the department features specializations in Biomedical Engineering, Interdisciplinary Engineering, Nanotechnology and Micro-Systems Engineering, Nuclear Engineering & Energy Systems, Photonics Engineering, and Smart Systems.
