The Chanchlani Research Centre endeavors to investigate environmental and genetic factors contributing to cardiovascular diseases prevalent among South Asians and those of South Asian descent in Canada. Community-based research initiatives, conducted in collaboration with local communities, aim to align research interests with community needs and advocate for policy changes by forging partnerships with governmental and non-profit entities. Through these efforts, the center seeks to influence policy by accessing funding, engaging with government agencies, and leveraging experiences to drive meaningful change.
