The Biointerfaces Institute (BI) is a cutting-edge facility dedicated to advancing material and biological interfaces. Over the past decade, the BI has served as a hub for over 20 core McMaster faculty members spanning three faculties, collaborating with a diverse range of students, fellows, and research partners. Welcoming both internal and external collaborators, the BI fosters innovation and commercialization across various technologies, boasting expertise in high-throughput synthesis, diagnostics, surface characterization, biomaterials, and more, across Chemistry, Chemical Biology, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, and Biomedical Engineering disciplines.
