Eugenia Zuroski
Professor, English & Cultural Studies

My research interests include British and colonial literatures and cultures of the long eighteenth century; racism, orientalism, and imperialism; and anticolonial theory and practice.

I welcome graduate supervisees interested in literatures and cultures of the Enlightenment and Romantic periods, or topics related to broader histories of empire and anticolonial movement.

In addition to these research areas, I also serve as Editor of the journal Eighteenth-Century Fiction. I am President of the Council of Editors of Learned Journals and have served on the Board of Directors of the Canadian Association of Learned Journals. I also publish non-academic essays and poetry.
