Dr. Samira Samiee-Zafarghandy is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatrics and a staff neonatologist in McMaster Children's Hospital (MCH).
She is the faculty lead for pharmacology and therapeutic care in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) and maintains an active research program aimed at optimizing the use of medications in Neonates. She also formed and chairs the Neonatal Pharmacology Working Group (NPWG) at the MCH NICU.
On a national level, she serves as a member of the Canadian Paediatric Clinical Pharmacology Expert Advisory Group and Pharmacology Advisory Committee for Clinical Trials.
