Preventing Dementia
Abstract
Primary prevention will become increasingly important as dementia prevalence increases and effective retardive therapies are developed. To date, only one randomized controlled trial (involving treatment of systolic hypertension) has demonstrated that the incidence of dementia can be reduced.
