Cefoperazone compared with ampicillin plus tobramycin for severe biliary tract infections

In a prospective, randomized, multicenter study, the efficacy and safety of cefoperazone and the combination ampicillin-tobramycin as initial therapy for patients with severe acute biliary tract infections were compared.
