A study of the muscle twitch in the Duchenne type muscular dystrophy

Abstract

1.(1) An investigation has been made of the twitch responses of interosseus muscles in patients with Duchenne dystrophy.2.(2) In all but one of the 12 patients examined the contraction and relaxation phases were slower than those of control subjects. Possible explanations for this observation have been considered.
