Abstract
OBJECTIVE: To investigate the efficacy of salsalate, a nonacetylated salicylate, in the treatment of patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA).
METHODS: Three hundred and one patients meeting the ACR criteria for RA were drawn from 16 centers.
