Effects of recurrent hyperinsulinemia with and without hypoglycemia on counterregulation in diabetic rats
Abstract
To understand the mechanisms whereby recurrent hypoglycemia increases the risk of subsequent hypoglycemia, it was necessary to differentiate the effects of recurrent hyperinsulinemia from those of hyperinsulinemic hypoglycemia.
