Abstract
A variety of surface observational techniques including full-field strain mapping based on digital image correlation analysis, electron back-scatter diffraction and in situ field emission scanning electron microscopy have been used to follow the patterns of inhomogeneous flow which occur during tensile testing of AA5754.
