Abstract

OBJECTIVE: To test the hypothesis that short term application of transdermal scopolamine increases heart rate variability (HRV) and restores sympathovagal balance in patients with stable congestive heart failure (CHF). DESIGN: A double blind placebo controlled crossover study.
