Current Role of High Frequency Oscillatory Ventilation and Airway Pressure Release Ventilation in Acute Lung Injury and Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome

Abstract

Lung protective ventilatory strategies using conventional ventilators have resulted in decreased mortality in adult patients who have acute lung injury and acute respiratory distress syndrome.
