Synthesis of d,l-epiramulosin and the configuration of ramulosin Journal Articles

abstract

• The synthesis of epiramulosin 1b, the epimer of ramulosin, a metabolite of Pestolatia ramulosa, has been achieved via a seven step sequence from butadiene and Δα,β-hexenolactone and the assignment of the relative and absolute configurations of ramulosin is achieved.
