Measuring the anticoagulant effect of low molecular weight heparins in the critically ill
Abstract
Antithrombotic prophylaxis in critically ill patients frequently fails. Venous thromboembolism is associated with adverse clinical outcomes, including a prolonged intensive care unit stay and death.
