Abstract

BACKGROUND: The burden of severe bleeding in adults and children with immune thrombocytopenia (ITP) has not been established. OBJECTIVES: To describe the frequency and severity of bleeding events in patients with ITP, and the methods used to measure bleeding in ITP studies.
