- OBJECTIVE: Comprehensive information on external cephalic version. DESIGN: Review of literature. SETTING: Department Gynecology and Obstetrics, Nemocnice MilosrdnĂ˝ch bratrĂ, Brno. SUBJECT AND METHOD: Review of reasons, conditions, contraindications, technique, results, and complications of external cephalic version. CONCLUSION: External cephalic version is safe, simple and cheap procedure which should be applied as a common part of management of breech presentation.
