Intervocalic fricative perception in European Portuguese: An articulatory synthesis study

This study examined the conditions under which European Portuguese (EP) intervocalic fricatives are perceived as voiced/voiceless with respect to varying voiced-to-devoiced fricative portions, durations, pharyngeal widths and glottal heights.
