Orderly Charging and Discharging Scheduling Strategy for Electric Vehicles Based on V2G

Abstract

The disorderly charging of a large scale electric vehicles (EVs) has an impact on the power grid, endangering its stability and economy. In this paper, an orderly charging and discharging scheduling strategy for EVs based on V2G is proposed. Firstly, the behavioral characteristics of EV users is analyzed. Besides, the load distribution of EVs within a day based on the driving distance and the time of merging and leaving the grid is predicted. Then, a scheduling strategy to regulate the reasonable charging of EV with the goal of minimizing charging costs and network power loss costs is established. Finally, taking the IEEE33-node distribution network as an example, to verify the effectiveness of the proposed scheduling strategy and analyze the effect of orderly charging and discharging of EVs on peak shaving and valley filling of power grid loads.
