One-Loop Model-Free Torque Control of Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor Drives

Abstract

The primary objective of this research paper is to implement a model-free control strategy for a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Machine (PMSM) that is powered by a Voltage Source Inverter (VSI). The proposed control approach has several benefits, including improved transient response and increased bandwidth. In addition to outlining the one-loop control architecture, this paper also explores ways to limit the saturation of state variables to improve system robustness against unexpected disturbances. Through simulation results, the study evaluates the performance of the proposed control scheme.
