Alteration of Fas and Fas ligand expression during human visceral leishmaniasis
Abstract
Several studies in murine systems have suggested a role of apoptosis in the pathogenesis of leishmaniasis. However, the role of apoptosis in visceral leishmaniasis in man has not been explored.
