THYRISTOR OPERATED INDUCTION MOTOR AND GENERATOR WITH STATOR CONNECTED IN THREE DIFFERENT WAYS

The paper compares motor and generator modes of the thyristor operated induction machine. The stator of the machine is connected in three different configurations: “star”, “delta” and “delta with thyristors inside”. The motor and the generator modes are compared for these three configurations. The simulation results are validated by the experimental results.
