Core-Shell Perovskite-TiO2 Nanoparticles for High Stability

Abstract

In recent years, hybrid halide perovskite nanostructures have gained traction for their optoelectronic properties. Their application, however, is hindered by their instability to moisture, oxygen, and UV radiation. To overcome this issue, we are reporting a method to produce perovskites capped with TiO2 to form highly stable core-shell nanoparticles. The TiO2 shell protects the perovskites from environmental degradation, with broad emission.
