ChemInform Abstract: Synthesis, Crystal Structure, and Electronic Properties of the CaRE3SbO4 and Ca2RE8Sb3O10 Phases (RE = Rare‐Earth Metal).

Abstract

Abstract The new phases CaLn 3 SbO 4 (Ln: Ce—Nd, Sm—Dy) and Ca 2 Ln 8 Sb 3 O 10 (Ln: La—Nd, Sm—Dy) are prepared from stoichiometric amounts of CaO, Ln 2 O 3 , and LnSb (Ta ampules, induction furnace, 1300—1600 °C, 5 h).
