ChemInform Abstract: Crystal Structure and Magnetism of Gd5‐xEuxGe4.

Abstract

Abstract The title compounds (0 < x < 3.0) and Y 3 Eu 2 Ge 4 are prepared from the elements (Ta ampules, 1200—1300 °C, 13—15 h) and characterized by powder and single crystal XRD, magnetization measurements, and TB‐LMTO‐ASA calculations.
