Temporal Differences in Remarriage Timing: Comparing Divorce and Widowhood
Abstract
One gap in the remarriage literature to date concerns the timing of remarriage among different groups. This paper begins to fill this gap by examining the tempo of remarriage among individuals whose first marriages ended in divorce and individuals whose first marriages ended in spousal death.
