Explaining μ+ spin-lattice relaxation in MnF2, belowTN, by scattering function

Abstract

A relation between the spin-lattice relaxation rate (1/T1) of positive muons and the scattering functionS⊥T (q,ω) is derived for the antiferromagnet MnF2. We find good agreement between previousμSR measurements of 1/T1 and our calculation using neutron scattering measurements ofS⊥T (q,ω).
