Exercise conditioning in old mice improves skeletal muscle regeneration
Abstract
Skeletal muscle possesses the ability to regenerate after injury, but this ability is impaired or delayed with aging. Regardless of age, muscle retains the ability to positively respond to stimuli, such as exercise.
