Determination of tricyclic antidepressant drugs by gas chromatography with the use of a capillary column
Abstract
A universal gas chromatographic procedure for the determination of the commonly prescribed tricyclic antidepressant drugs in 1 mL of plasma is described. After the addition of internal standards the samples are washed with pentane at acidic pH and extracted with pentane at alkaline pH.
