When it comes to China and Africa, one thinks spontaneously of immensity versus mosaic, but one can also be fascinated by the rooting in the past. To create La légende des siècles, a French epic, Victor Hugo allowed himself to be carried by "history listened through the gates of legend", according to his own words. Imagine what would be the writing of The legend of the millennia for China and Africa, impressive asteroids launched in the sky of time? Thousand eyes scrutinize with their camera the interactions between the people of the great country and those of the African polyarchy. We will see the tensions that worry them and the images they retain of their respective diaspora. In the end, we will focus on the plurality of perceptions, asking ourselves whether the enthusiasm will continue, and whether the relationships will remain profitable. (English) [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] Quand il s'agit de la Chine et de l'Afrique, on pense spontanément à l'immensité en rapport avec la mosaïque, mais on reste aussi fasciné par l'enracinement dans le passé. Pour créer La légende des siècles, épopée française, Victor Hugo s'est laissé porter par « l'histoire écoutée aux portes de la légende », suivant ses propres mots. Imagine-t-on ce que serait l'écriture de la Légende des millénaires pour les impressionnants astéroïdes lancés dans le ciel du temps que sont la Chine et l'Afrique ? Mille yeux scrutent avec leur caméra les interactions entre les gens du grand Pays et ceux de la polyarchie africaine. Nous verrons les tiraillements qui les inquiètent et les images qu'ils retiennent de leur diaspora respective. À la fin, nous nous attarderons sur la pluralité des perceptions, en nous demandant si l'enthousiasme se maintiendra, et si les relations resteront profitables. (French) [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
