Scoping assessment of design characteristics for an enhanced calandria tube

Abstract

Over the lifetime of a CANada Deuterium Uranium (CANDU) type reactor, the pressure tubes and calandria tubes undergo creep deformation via static, dynamic and thermal stresses accelerated by neutron bombardment.
