Heart failure with preserved ejection fraction: recent concepts in diagnosis, mechanisms and management

It is estimated that half of all patients with heart failure (HF) have HF with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF). Yet this form of HF remains a diagnostic and therapeutic challenge.
