Abstract

Electrochemical fluorination of methyl(phenylthio)acetate was achieved using tetrabutylammonium fluoride (TBAF). Electrochemical fluorination was performed under potentiostatic anodic oxidation using an undivided cell in acetonitrile containing TBAF and triflic acid.
