Industrial equipment and process for continuous production of engine oil from plastic wastes

Abstract

Cracking for producing fuel is an important method in disposal of plastic wastes. In order to solve the problems of discontinuity and re-pollution in the previous plastic wastes cracking process, an experimental research project was presented, which addressed some key technical issues in the operating process of converting plastic wastes into engine oil. In particular, a new spiral lamina propelling reactor was designed and a pilot set with a disposal capability of 1000 kg/h was built. The results show that the process realizes the stable and continuous production of engine oil from cracking plastic wastes and basically eliminates the secondary pollution. Compared with the previous plastic wastes cracking process, the process behaves as low consumption of energy, high yield, good quality of products and little secondary pollution.
