Economic Implications of Impact of Manufacturing on Environment and Health

The birth of modern manufacturing dates to the age of the Industrial Revolution which started in the middle of the eighteenth century in England and propagated in Europe and in North America. It was due primarily to the invention of the steam engine and the subsequent consequence of the ability to produce products for consumption by mechanization.
