Modeling of the dynamics of transient liquid films in ternary systems
Abstract
The presence of a concentration gradient across a thin liquid film leads to the phenomenon of isothermal liquid film migration (LFM). In most cases, the concentration gradient is due to coherency stresses, and the migration of the liquid film results in the relaxation of these stresses.
