Model Free-Based Torque Control of Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor Drives

Abstract

Along with the rapid development of faster or more powerful microprocessors and digital signal processing, the implementation of new or more complex control schemes for power electronics and electrical drives is possible. This paper presents the model-free control (MFC) for controlling the permanent-magnet synchronous motor (PMSM). The proposed algorithm is digitally carried out using the Microlab BOX dSPACE R&D digital signal processing board. Based on the simulation and experimental results, the performance of the proposed control scheme is examined.
