An efficient standing-wave model for simulation of λ/4 - shifted DFB lasers
Abstract
A standing-wave model based on "cold" cavity modes for simulating quarter-wavelength (λ/4) shifted DFB lasers is presented. This model is validated by benchmark results, and shown to be more efficient. © 2008 Optical Society of America.
