Emergency treatment of anterior circulation cerebral arterial thrombosis within the 6- to 9-h window
Abstract
Abstract Statistics indicate that even in the best circumstances, there are many stroke patients who are not diagnosed for stroke treatment until 6 h or more have elapsed, potentially excluding them from thrombolytic treatment protocols. The authors present three cases of acute stroke patients in whom revascularization procedures were accomplished within the 6- to 9-h window with favorable neurological outcomes.
