Ankle fractures are common and potentially debilitating injuries. Malleolar fractures include a spectrum of injuries with varying treatments required. These injuries can be deceptively complicated and as such it is important for the treating orthopedic surgeon to possess an algorithm for their management based on the available literature. The following chapter seeks to outline the best available evidence to guide the management of ankle injuries.
