Abstract

CONTEXT: The long-term renal prognosis of patients with diarrhea-associated hemolytic uremic syndrome (HUS) remains controversial. OBJECTIVES: To quantify the long-term renal prognosis of patients with diarrhea-associated HUS and to identify reasons for different estimates provided in the literature.
