Determining the optical properties of tissue phantoms using an interstitial frequency domain technique

The effects of source anisotropy and inaccurate placement of fibers were examined. The optical properties can be recovered satisfactorily with interstitial frequency domain measurements if phase amplitude rosstalk is taken into account. © 2006 Optical Society of America.
