Shallow, high-resolution seismic reflection in the study of the Quaternary in foothill areas

Abstract

Several trial shallow seismic reflexion surveys were carried out in distal alluvial fan settings in Salta Province, Argentina. The tests span two areas with contrasting subsurface characteristics.
