Application of neurocomputing models to study thermodiffusion

Abstract

The application of the principles of artificial neural networks, which were introduced in Chap. 2, to study thermodiffusion in binary liquids is discussed in this chapter. In this, the ability of this method to accurately evaluate the parameters relevant in thermodiffusion has been demonstrated for ionic and hydrocarbon mixtures. The method is compared with other approaches to highlight the accuracy of this approach in studying thermodiffusion.
