Slag crystallization behavior pertaining to heat recovery
Abstract
Thermal energy of slags represents a major energy saving potential in the metal extraction processes. In this article, evolution of methods for energy recovery from slags is reviewed. Dry granulation and heat recovery as a potentially favorable method is discussed in details.
